Laurent, the Frenchman and sommelier, is from the Uzège and his work is literally in wine. With decades of experience in hospitality, the restaurant trade and, later, as a specialist wine merchant, he loves to share his passion for wine.
Greg, the Englishman and technologist, has lived in the south of France for many years. Over time he's discovered the wines and the rich character of the region.
When you join, you'll receive a curated selection of French wines delivered right to your door. You can choose how often you'd like your box—monthly, every other month, or quarterly. Each delivery focuses on a different region or style, giving you the chance to explore the best of France one glass at a time.
Each box is carefully curated by us, we have over 20 years of experience as in the wine business. We always provide a mix of different types of wine to vary your collection and introduce you to a wide range of styles. And you can always buy more of any one wine in our members' shop.
We've been in the restaurant and hotelier trade for a long time, we have a lot of contacts and long relationships with our partners. And we never stop discovering, each year we visit as many trade fairs and tastings as we can to find new and interesting winemakers. We also travel to other parts of France, and to Italy and Spain, always searching for family-run vineyards that share our values and respect the environment.
The principle of the club is discovery! Sometimes we will take you out of your comfort zone, and you will taste original wines you didn't expect to taste. But that's part of the experience and is often a good surprise!
Yes—every box comes with detailed tasting notes. You'll learn about the region, the winemaker's story, and the best food pairings for each bottle, making it easy to enjoy your wines like a sommelier.
Of course! One of the big advantages of being a member is that you can access the members' shop. You can buy any wine in the shop, even wines you have not received in your box, in boxes of 6. Your order will be shipped with your next box. If you need it sooner, contact us for arrange for a couriered delivery.
We aim to deliver across the UK, with shipping included in your subscription. We can certainly serve England, Wales and most of Scotland. We're also working to expand to more countries soon—so no matter where you are, you'll be able to enjoy authentic French wines delivered straight to your door.
It starts with our partners. Our winemakers are all selected because they respect the environment. We buy direct, so we limit the movement of the wine as much as possible. By grouping our deliveries, as much as possible, into a single shipment each month, we limit the CO2 emissions of our shipping. We also source our raw materials locally, for example our boxes are made by a local producer, just 20 miles away and certified a zero waste manufacturer.
